Troubleshooting

Whenever the appliance fails to work, check for a solution from the following list before calling for Assistance.

ProblemPossible causes / Solutions
The dishwasher does not start or cannot be controlled.1.Switch off the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button, switch it back on after approximately one minute and reset the program. 2.The appliance has not been plugged in properly. 3.The dishwasher door has not been shut properly.
The door won’t close.The lock was released. Strongly push the door until a “clacking” noise is heard.
No water drains from the dishwasher.1.The dishwasher cycle has not finished yet. 2.The water drain hose is bent (see Installation). 3.The drain duct is blocked. 4.The filter is clogged up with food residues.
The dishwasher is too noisy.1.The dishes are rattling against each other or against the sprayer arms. 2.An excessive amount of foam has been produced: the detergent has not been measured out correctly or it is not suitable for use in dishwashers.
The dishes and glasses are covered in a white film or limescale deposits.1.The level of refined salt is low or the dosage setting is not suited to the hardness of the water (see Rinse aid and salt.) 2.The lid on the salt dispenser was not closed properly. 3.The rinse aid has been used up or the dosage is too low
The dishes and glasses are streaked or have a bluish tinge.The rinse aid dosage is too high.
The crockery has not been dried properly.1.A wash cycle without a drying cycle has been selected. 2.The rinse aid has been used up or the dosage is too low. 3.The rinse aid setting is not suitable. 4.The crockery is made from non-stick material or plastic
The dishwasher does not take any water in - Tap shut-off alarm.1.There is no water in the mains supply. 2.The water inlet hose is bent. 3.Turn on the tap and the appliance will start after a few minutes.
The crockery is not clean.1.The racks are overloaded. 2.The crockery has not been arranged properly. 3.The sprayer arms cannot move freely. 4.The wash cycle is too gentle.

  Error Codes Problem A1 No water-the water supply hasn’t been turned on. A6 The spray arm has loosened or come off its mounting, or water pressure is too low. F2X Motor fault. F3X Temperature fault. You may need to have a tempering valve installed on your water supply, to ensure that incoming water is less than 65C (149F). F4X Heating element failed.
